What we process, and why

Account: name, email and password (encrypted) — so you can log in. Basis: performance of the contract.
Orders: delivery address, order lines and order history — to deliver and handle complaints. Basis: performance of the contract.
Membership: status, billing periods and cancellations — to run the subscription. Basis: performance of the contract.
Accounting: invoice details — we are required to retain them. Basis: legal obligation.
Language and currency: stored in your browser so the site displays correctly. Basis: our legitimate interest in a working website.

Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We never see your card details and do not store them. Stripe is an independent data controller for payment data.

Who we share with

We never sell your information. We share only what is necessary with: Stripe (payment), our web host (operations), our mail server (order confirmations), carriers (delivery) and DeepL (translation of product texts — never customer data).

Analytics and marketing

Marketing pixels from Meta and similar are loaded only if you have given consent in the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing cookies for savecoon.com.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file placed on your computer, tablet or phone. It cannot identify you as a person — it only recognises the device, so the site remembers your language, your cart and whether you are logged in. Cookies are typically stored for up to 12 months.

You can delete cookies, or ask your browser to warn you before it receives them, in your browser settings. If you block them, parts of the site may stop working.

If you sign up for our newsletter, we register your email address. It is treated confidentially and is not passed on. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of the newsletter.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting data are kept for 5 years plus the current financial year, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Your account is kept until you delete it. If you delete the account, your personal details are removed while order data subject to bookkeeping rules is retained for the statutory period.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and the right to object to processing. Write to hello@savecoon.com — we reply within one month.

You can also delete your account yourself under Profile settings.

If you are unhappy with how we process your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark — datatilsynet.dk.
